Pictures of new SRC Steel MP5
It's hard to see the weld marks on the heavy duty all metal upper receiver from photos this far away - but trust that these are some of the most realistic and accurately weighing MP5's on the market today

A steel Mp5 is sick but the only real difference is you get a solid top reciever continuous through the cocking tube. I personally like the old design because it's easier to change parts if you just get a metal cocking tube to complement your metal reciever.
Unless I am wrong and this Mp5 is designed like the real Mp5s where it's a giant piece of stamped steel (instead of two halves of screwed together cast zinc or aluminum like standard airsoft Mp5s or the real steel GSG-9) which is then folded together and welded.

Then I want one! I hope their GBB Mp5s are made in the same way. Who would have thought SRC would be innovators one day?

We had a couple in the store i work at and there amazing. Our arms officer has a real one and he said it feels exactly like the real thing. Fits real steel parts too which is pretty good. Performance wise they're shooting about 300-310 fps and not sure about r.o.f cos we only have semi in nz.

Man i want one of these steel babies. Someone get some!!! The top right of the box says Gen2. Is it talking about the version 2 gearbox or is it only a Gen2 of the version 2 gearbox?

It's the SRC Gen II gearbox which has slightly inferior parts to the Gen 3s (bearing spring guide, bearing bushings, m120 spring, etc).
