Strange Problem with fps..

Ok, i've got a G36 here... Most shots are at the corect fps, but every now and then on the chrono a lower fps comes through..

For example, 338, 328, 334, 338 etc then 240fps....

Can anyone help with this problem? It's very frustraiting, many many gearbox builds and i dont think this is the cause. I think it maybe elsewhere so i wondered if anyone has seen this problem before.

Please help it's needed for a game soon and it's bugging me.

Thanks

What comes after the 240fps? Stays the same or jumps back up again?

Right back up

to like 334, 340 etc...It's very strange.. I've been fixing guns for years and never had this come up.

When you fire at full auto, you cna see a load go the same speed then you can see a random one now and then thats slower fps because i's easier to see and it drops down before the others.

Barrel is clean, gearbox is running fine, Mosfet is working perfectly fine, Full cycles.

It's got to the point where it's rediculous. 2 Hop units have been tried, Different hop rubbers, the works. Running out of ideas.

how consistent are the intervals for the lower FPS? totally random?

could you have a batch of bad BB's? could be several smaller ones mixed in causing the problem?

Na it's not bb's

Tried in 3 other guns close by and also put 3 brands through it now in weights of 0.25's and 0.2's... Just to make sure they are not mixed up if thats what anyone thinks also

I'd say 1-2 out of 10 shots maybe are lower fps. It's very very strange.
