Any Meister 1911 M.E.U. reviews?
Hi all, I have searched high and low for a review or general feedback on the Meister 1911 MEU.
I am interested in one of these pistols and I see I can get a full metal one here on ASC. I am wondering if they are a decent 1911 option here in Canada. On its own merits is it a gun worth owning and using as a backup weapon? Quality? Aftermarket parts? FPS? Any known issues? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Full 100% TM clone, so all aftermarket 1911 parts will fit.
Comes standard full metal and has nice engraved trades on it real trades I might add. |

A few small problems but nothing big, I do have to say it is the most realistic MEU I have had out of TM (with Metal Kit), Socomgear, and the KJW.

What kind of problems? Easy fixes for the minor problems?

The inner barrel is shit, the hop-up is shit, and the mag catch screw that holds it in is shit mine broke just from putting the mag in, but a small screw will fix that.

After you get a new Barrel, and Hop-hop it should be, The screw could have just been mine, but I fixed it easily. The Meister Mags are decent I can get all 25 shot off, and about 15-20 in the cold (-5). The loading/nozzle I am a bit worried about it is very thin and cheap feeling, But if you like collecting this is the most realistic.
