TM AUG ARL Anti-Reversal Latch not catching: FIXED
He all,
I installed the Guarder SP150 Infinite Torque-Up Kit for Marui AUG in my TM AUG. I installed everything but the spring and went with a MadBull M120. I took my time and shimmed perfectly, fixed AOE, cleared a little bit of plastic on the piston that held on the last metal tooth that was interfering with the sector gear. Anyway, shoots and cycles clean except the anti-reversal latch won't catch. It is installed properly but the ARL will never catch. It catches when no spring[edit] the madbull spring[/edit] is in and I thumb turn the gears. The ARL is clean and the bevel gear is clean, no grease on those sections. Any ideas? Thanks, Goge.

swap the ARL spring, swap the ARL itself, check that your bevel gear isn't pressing on the ARL.
I have spare ARL's and ARL springs if you need to swap stuff. |

Thanks m102404,
I think I see what the problem is, it looks like the ARL is sitting too low and is coming in contact with the motor's gear. There is about 1.5 mm protruding lower then the bevel gear's catches. Is there some way to shim this up? Thanks. edit: I put the original ARL back in and it lined up better with the bevel's catches. Put in the thinnest wide shim I had and it lined up perfectly, now the ARL locks and works perfectly. Thanks.
