PEO Soldier's "HowTo" guide to painting weapons

https://peosoldier.army.mil/docs/blo...ainting101.pdf

This is the official PEO Soldier guide to painting weapons, now that USGI's have been authorized to paint their pers weapons. Worth a read if you are new to painting weapons, just keep in mind that unlike what the guide says, CLP is not worth a damn for removing paint.

Don't know if it's just me or not but link doesn't work, something about a certification error

Indeed, Firefox is just warning you that it's making a secure connection (HTTPS) to a site using a certificate which cannot be verified.

You aren't banking/sending payment or providing personal information so it doesn't really matter. ASC actually does the same thing if you connect to the secure socket (https://www.airsoftcanada.com)

They specify a stock number for the paints, fo maybe theses paints are easy to remove with CLP, while regular paint (krylon) is sticking better and harder to remove...

For airsoft rifles, Super Clean (purple stuff) is awesome for plastics... don't ever put that on a metal piece though...

CONSPIRACY.

ASC is stealing and monitoring our banking information, and that's why the price of airsoft rifles is so high! THEY'RE TRYING TO MAKE YOU POOR. REVOLT. RENOUNCE. RISE AGAINST. STRIKE BACK.

But yea link's fine. Only thing that happened was my computer blue-screened (Totally unrelated, seriously). Was quite informative. Going to use it when I go about repainting my SiG552 so it's not, for lack of better terminology, bad.
