Best eyewear, coverage wise

Hi,

I m considering using target shooting goggle for outdoor game,

I m thinking about:

ESS Ice
ESS Crossbow
Revision Sawfly (Large)

I was curious, which one would offer the best coverage, ie largest eye protection area, ie, less chance of having a BB going in from a side shot.

Thanks for you input,

Bong

Depends on your face bro. I know thats not much of an answer, but eyewear is a very personal thing and everyones face is different.

I wear BOLLE and Revision, they happen to fit my face and I like the long angle on the sides of the Revision stuff that reduces the chance of something sneaking in from the side.

The CF issued Revision glasses are really good. Comfy, massive field of vision, and two sets of lens (clear and smoked polarized). That and you can pick them up in surplus stores for around $40 CAD.

My only concern with the CF-issue Revisions is the lens shape which IMHO leaves too big of a gap along the sides of the face.

I have the Crossbows and of course it depends on your face's shape, but note the difference in lens shape. It's a nice, big squared off shape for my face. So in that case I would say Crossbow over Ice or Sawfly.
But the biggest comparaison as I see it between the ice and the crossbow is akin to that of the Oakley M Frame SI versus the SI Ballistic. ie strength of the frame and it staying put.

Would crossbow be superior in that case?

I haven't held Crossbows up against Ice/Sawflies so I can't answer for sure which covers the sides off better.
One other consideration might be a wrap around like the Revision Hellfly? I am wearing them in my albeit tiny profile pic, but they cover great. Just a thought.
