Battery Charger issues...
I was in the market for a new battery charger. So, i went online and decided to kill two birds with one stone by buying a universal charger. I arrived, all is good. When I plug in the battery a red light is supposed to light up to indicate that the battery is charging. Instead a green light flashes to indicate that no battery is yet connected. I have tried plugging in different batteries, but to the same result (flashing green).
Has anyone else come across this? http://torontoairsoft.com/product.php?id_product=201 Much appreciated, Kingly |

A "Universal Smart Charger" is the furthest thing you can find from a universal charger actually.
Everyone I know that used that charger burnt his battery under a month... don't use it. If you want something decent, get ready to drop about 50$. You can get the Onyx 220 from Duratrax that works very well for about 40$. Charges every NiMh or NiCd battery that we use for airsoft. Current can be switched from 1.5-3-5 amps for charge too. |
