Ghosts balaclava has always been around....

have a look at a navy seal. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=navy+seal+balaclava

the C.I.A, S.A.D guy's invented it from what I hear

the one thing about COD I hate was that they ruined the Skullaclava now every new player is showing up in multicam pants and a grey soft shell with a cheap (mostly those glow in the dark ones) balaclava with the Seal skull print on it. I wore mine waay before that game and it was unique, now it's in a bin with a bunch of my other gear cause everyone either shouts "ghost!" or calls you a COD fag for wearing it...../rant

anywho check out the 506th I believe it is, or the 405th, their websites dedicated to making Mjolnir armour, the other one is stormtrooper armour I get the two mixed up, they'll have it there no doubt.

however the design he wears is painted on, right on the front of the helm, cool in a video game but would no doubt block your vision in critical areas. I painted a white eye design on my ESS advancers and left unpainted strands to look like I had bloodshot eyes but the veign's were black, a metaphore for a black heart or the oil pumping through my veins, very cool I designed it so I could see through the pupil and some of the veigns ran along my vision path but it still was very fuzzy.

May try my own thing with this design on a balaclava, haven't really decided though.

Ya all the kids getting glow in the dark ones = lame, I atleast bought mine from a company (Canadian) which had made these long before as well for bikers.

I got mine back when only the painted ones existed too.

It's always been this way with all skull logos though, first the punisher, then ghost, and now this, atleast soon to be. I just don't want to make my own version of this then get pm'd for "can I buy one or where'd you get it ,etc."

ya I think mine was originally for biker's too, got it in like 2001 or something

I don't think it'd look nearly as good on a balaclava, because if you notice the skullaclava the design is on the bottom only, you pull the balaclava up under your goggles, that way this design replaces your face, you see absolutly no skin, not even the bridge of you nose (where most newbs fuck up), it's the skull as your face and then a pair of black tinted goggles as your eye's.

now this is where the problem lies with this design. It has a forehead, and eyes, if you painted it on a balaclava the eyes obviously would go whee your's are, on the holes of the mask. the human element of your own eye's showing would indeed ruin the demon aura of the design as it no longer replaces your face, your not the walking dead like the skullaclava anymore, your a guy wearing a balaclava with a white design on it. your human identity stays, not the one you want to create with this demon spartan design.

you could put goggles on it (since it's airsoft you have to). but the strap running overtop blocking some of the design would thus ruin the identity of the mask, the only reason your wearing this design is to have that identity nothing else, or else you'd wear a plain black one. trust me, I'm VERY artsy.

when making this get low profile glasses style full seal goggles like ESS Advancer V12's and wear them UNDER the balaclava,

but the problem is the balaclava will trap heat and not allow it to vent from the goggles making them fog. your gonna have to figure that out.

to sum it up, it's not really a good design to build on for a balaclava, you'd actually have to find a helm like the one he's wearing, (riot helmet? or fighter jet one?) but if you do set forth please follow my advice to make it half decent

I'm a graphic designer so nothing is impossible with some illustrator magic haha but I did forget the goggles part. My goggles perfectly line up with the nose holes on my skull balaclava so I'm happy. But they fog too, may get a fan or something like that though, see if that works.

Hmm.. that looks interesting, might be time to build a new helmet...

I've already done a 405th ODST armor set (the helmet visor was a PITA, but it's BB proof, tested with repeated 450+fps bbs point blank) but i really gotta figure out venting to cut down on fogging.

The skull was originally a biker's bandanna, btw.

ya Either way it was not Call of Duty that's forsure.

I did end up paint a custom design that used the Top part of Emile's skull design however the lower half was not finished as I got lazy.

Turned out more different then I thought but I can always change it with alittle paint thiner and less laziness.

Bottom half was from the Punisher mask btw

EDIT: The Last image is the base design I created in Photoshop which I ended up applying on the mask

What you could do albeit quite expensive is get the black Praetorian mask (imo the style looks quite similar to EVA) and paint a skull on it.
