Question New wire or new gun?

I have a Aftermath Lycaon for a few years and I have added a few upgrades to it over time. I haven't gamed with it for a bit and took it out a few days ago to run some bb's through it and it sounded a bit worse for ware or weak. I took it apart and found that the black wire is cut/disconnected from the metal connector that attaches to the motor. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to send it in to get fixed, soder it myself, or buy a whole new gun?

Solder it back on and save for a new better gun later on.

Send it in? It's defiantly not worth the trouble for you or the recipient to send it in to get the clip put back on. Just solder it on yourself (or replace the clip if you're planning on taking it apart a lot) and get a new gun if you plan on playing soon.

Bring it by the shop so I can take a look (make sure to bring it in a gun case or box). If that needs all I think it does, it will cost you less than $2 and shouldn't take more than 2 mins to do!
