8.4 volt battery charger?

Hello fellow airsofters.
I recieved an airsoft gun from my older brother today.
It's a Panther Arms m16 (i think) used and there's no charger.
DO you guys know of any way to "McGyver" a battery charger or where I can purchase one?
007airsoft has them for 65$ but that seems a bit too much for a battery charger.

McGyvering one probably would not be the safest thing. If you just need something that works I would suggest heading over to your local RC hobby shop and picking up a simple charger that has the appropriate opposing matching head to your battery. They are not great but they do the job, expect to pay anywhere from 10-30CAD.

It should look something like this but with the appropriate matching head for your battery.

Depending on where in the country you are, both Airsoft Parts Canada (Eastern Canada) and I (Western Canada) carry inexpensive smart chargers as well as most other retailers here. You can also pick up chargers at any RC shop. Wall chargers are notorious for burning up batteries as they don't turn off or trickle charge once the battery is finished charging.

Thanks guys.
I'll be sure to hit up my local PM hobby craft down the street and see if they have anything
