Alright guys, any update on the reliability of the M28? I've been following the discussions on Arnies and I hear alot about the feeding issues with the magwell in the stock instead of in the receiver as well as the famous "Twang"

ECHO1 released metal mags as well as replacement parts and upgrade parts are popping up on airsoft stores.

Still worth it?

Thoroughly Grease the spring and the Twang dissapears. Why i have no idea,
Feeding issue has been found to be with the way the gun is assembled by the order of the tightning of the bolts. However the feeding issue fix is not aplliable to issue with the broken mags.

Still Worth it?....... FUCK YEAH!

Ahhh it's tempting now !

Accuracy-wise, did you have to go through many upgrades so far?

None other than the downgraded spring they installed before shipping and a good once over to make sure everything was in working order. Unless you consider the Proper assembly and a good Lubing a mod. Im getting 462fps with .20 Bastards. With .30 Bastards im hitting a 4 inch target 9 outa 10 times at a 100ft. As far as reliability well ya got me there it will be used heavily this year and without mods or upgrades till it breaks if it breaks.

I'm edging closer to a sniper platform as well --- how would this stack up against the TSD SD702 model? Apparently that model come upgraded with a BB spring guide, reinforced sear, aluminum piston as far internals are concerned. This M28 looks crazy sexy though just like a 700P.

And just to know, what kind of optics are you using with it?

Had you any troubles with feeding with the supplied plastic mags?

Im running a Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 mm Rifle Scope. When i first received it yes there was a feeding issue but once i figured out its all in how the Rifle is assembled and the actual order of bolt tightning the feeding issue went away and hasnt come back since.

Note: DO NOT FOLLOW ECHO1's INSTRUCTION/ASSEMBLY VIDEO TO ASSEMBLE YOUR RIFLE. It will cause feeding issues

I did the grease mod, and twang went away. You don't even need to dissassemble it completely. Just add grease from the small window.

Anyone else is having trouble unscrewing the cylinder head?
