KSC USP Compact Misfire issue

Hi all, i've had this gas blowback ksc USP compact for a while now. one day, it just started misfiring out of nowhere.
i loaded it with gas and fired it. It kept on firing till the mag was empty of gas. i've also observed even if the mag is not loaded, i just need to push on the clip that holds the barrel back, and once the barrel shoots in front, it starts to misfire till the mag is empty of gas.

has anyone had an issue with this before, maybe its just that i need to buy a anew magazine or something, the guts of the USP look ok, i just cant figure it out. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

When you say missile, do you mean the slide comes back and it just vents all the gas? or does the slide stay put and it vents out the barrel?

Hey xzivr, thnks for the response. I guess u mean misfire right. Anyway this happens when the slide goes in front. Then the gun starts firing until there is no gas.

Oops sorry, stupid Autocorrect yeah I meant misfire. Okay so it fires full auto then. I have a kwa usp compact and so far it hasn't done that, but I have seen it on other guns including my 226. Check your hammer spring and the mechanism that holds it back. The other thing that can happen Is the part that rests the hammer gets worn and won't hold it cocked.

Take the slide off and pull back the hammer. Does it stay back? Try tapping it and see if it suddenly goes forward on its own. If it does then you probably need to replace the hammer catch.

There are a couple of reasons that a gas pistol will act like this
1. The disconnector is broken...or it is not being actuated
2. The sear is broken/worn...or is not resetting correctly
2a. The hammer notches are so worn they're not engaging the sear
3. The nozzle/float valve is broken in such a way that the pistol is not cycling correctly and the slide is not retracting enough to trip the disconnect.

BTW...the slide is the part that goes back and forth...the "clip" that you're referring to is likely the slide release lever.

I'm referring to the slide dude, sorry if i wasnt too clear, when i cock the pistol, ie. pull the slide back. When the slide goes in front, the gun starts firing till the gas is out. I dont even need to pull the trigger.
