Question about WE G39c -solved-
I have a we g39c, that was recently serviced by a gun tech (put in a npas).
Now it was shooting fine, when I first got it back but then after a few days later I tried it and it seems to shoot the first 20 bbs then shoot blanks and expel the gas from the gun. And sometimes it would be able to shoot all 30 rounds but would be shooting blanks in-between 20-30 rounds. I tried dropping a drop of silcon oil into the output piece at the top and dropped silcon oil in the propane tank and filled the mags. When I did that it seemed to work much better but it still shooting some blanks in-between the 20-30 rounds. Is there anything I can do? Or should I dry fire this thing with some Silcon oil? Thanks guys. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- It seems that I was low on propane, and additionally the hop up was maxed out. thus the bbs were probably sitting a bit too far for the nozzle to even touch. Just my theory. Used a new tank, added silcone oil, dialed the hop off, BOOM BOOM BANG! Last edited by Stocko; September 12th, 2011 at 01:27.. |

Hard to say without actually seeing for myself, but it sounds like a problem with your mags, rather than an issue with the rifle.
Have you taken a look at the BB feed system in your mags? I'd suggest disassembling the mags, and cleaning the BB feed section. Remember, it's a completely separate assembly from the gas reservoir, so adding silicone oil to the gas doesn't provide lube to the BB load portion. I'm not sure I'd add lube there anyway, just keep it clean. Also, of course, be sure to use only quality BBs. What are you using for ammo in that rifle?

quality of bbs may be an issue as well..
these are double stack mags ... if the bbs are not good quality they can hangup in the feed path

Nope; not on the G39, it's not wide enough for that. If the issue is with more than one mag (still check if lips are not dirty or used or if BB quality is crappy) but most of all : check the nozzle.
The WE G39 has a very serious material flaw on the nozzle : plastic is way too weak and in the end (or at the start, mine shattered at first game) the nozzle front tube (that pushes BBs) just explodes, in which case WE says "Ka-Ching" and you go "What the F***!?!". ... in the end I said "Screw WE!" and got myself the VFC, review inbound. |

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

the other possibilty that I can recognize from an issue with aftermarket nozzle for the TM hicappa which is a very similar design and has the same issue, the NPAS valve could be too big for the nozzle if either part is slightly off spec, and when the gun fires if it were to get stuck forward and not release any gas into the barrel, however, if htis were the case, after it doesnt fire some shots, the BBs that didnt fire would be rolling out of the barrel and not remain in hte mgas, is this the case? or are they still in the mags when its not firing?

I've attached a picture of my nozzle.
The BB's don't come rolling, it seems like the gun just expells the gas and nothing moves... one bb stays loaded. It's doing that with the first shot now... its like a 50/50 it'll shoot. I had manchovie install the NPAS for me if that matters lol. I'm lubing the bb feed areas as we speak, hope this works any ideas? Last edited by Stocko; November 19th, 2013 at 14:24.. |
