KJ 1911A1 CO2 Magazine on TM 1911A1
Hey all bosses, I just learned that KJ's new version of 1911 has the magazine compatibility with TM 1911(I used to have an older version of KJ 1911 totally different stories.)
Ok lets start the rules of induction: Conditions known: KJ 1911A1 Magazine compatible with TM 1911; KJ 1911A1 supports co2 type of magazine. TM 1911A1 has been customized to FM.(guess this condition is the key!) Then conculsion: TM1911A1 custom would be able to run KJ's CO2 mag. Does that make sense to anyone who has tried this before? |

Won't work, the KJW CO2 mags are thicker where the CO2 canister protrudes. You would need a KJW lower frame to be able to use these mags.

I think your TM in plastic will not resist. Considering the price of TM, don't do that...

EDIT: only other (insane) option I could think of is an Inokatsu (lower), which runs solely on CO2.

You can have a full metal kit on a marui pistol it doesn't make the pump plastic stronger, recipe for shattering the pump if it ever worked.

Pump? I don't know what part you're talking about but that isn't terminology used in pistols.

far as I know the grips need to be clearanced, and possibly the frame inside the magwell .
however I'm not completely sure that the co2 mags are the same as the TM style GG/propane mags ... KJ has what.. 3 different versions of the 1911a1 alone out now.. the old style which uses it's own mags, the TM clone style "green gas only" , and the CO2 style... which I beleive it can run off the green gas mags too.. but I don't remember if TM style or the old style.

The frame on the CO2 gun is larger
The CO2 has bulges at the side of the magazine. CO2 mag in CO2 gun = ok GG mag in CO2 gun = ok Co2 mag in GG gun = Wont fit. |
