The Classic Army Armalite M15A4 RIS Carbine

It was quite the adventure getting my hands on this AEG. I won't go into detail, because I've told the story too many times. Look for my previous posts if you're really curious.

Now, let's get down to business. I ripped the brown wrapping paper off the package and opened the box. There she was, in all her glory, looking for all the world like the real deal. There's this beautiful matte finish on all the parts, and she's composed mostly of that distinctive blue-gray gunmetal. I hooked a couple fingers under the grip to lift the gun out of the case, and I realized I'd need both hands; the thing's pretty damn heavy. Upon inspection, I found that the gun was built like a rock - nothing wobbled at all, save for the plastic extendable stock (the stock tube itself didn't budge).
The gun didn't come with batteries, so I haven't yet fired her. Whatever the outcome of that test, I'm certain it'll beat the hell out of that P.O.S. Wal-Mart clearsoft springer I used to have (the stock on that gun fell off last week without warning).

Now, let's get to what I didn't like. The flashhider, I discovered with some disgust, was originally painted orange. It seems that my seller's supplier painted over the orange tip with black. So if anyone's willing to sell me a CA M15 flashhider, please send me a message.
Second, the matte finish on the reciever seemed to get permanently shiny when I rubbed it with a dry cloth. Not such a big deal, But annoying nonetheless. There was a sticker on the side of it that read "made in Hong Kong" and pulling that off left some nasty glue residue; still gotta remove that.

Attempted Gun Porn as promised:

Note: The replica Aimpoint and the Crane stock were obtained on eBay.

Comment on my photography skills; that's something else that needs a review.

Nice. You can prolly get a flash hider from AirsoftParts.ca.
All 14mm CCW ones should fit.
