WE G36 GBBR problems, bouncing bolt, etc

So I recently got a WE g36 and have gamed it twice now.

Towards the end of the second game it started having some problems... First what happened is it would once in a while fire several shots per one trigger pull while in semi. The first couple times it happened I thought I just bumped the selector, so I put it to safe, back to semi, and then it shot fine. I guess my question here is, if there was a problem that was causing it to shoot full auto in semi, would it be intermittent, or once it's there, it's there? What's the likely culprit?

The other problem I'm having is it seems like the bolt carrier is bouncing a bit when it comes forward. If you take a shot and watch the charging handle, you can see it go back, come forward, then when it hits home it bounces back a bit (maybe 3/8") and then it settles down.

I have no idea how to fix this but I think it may occasionally be bouncing far back enough to double feed, because I've noticed it doing that a couple of times. Someone said a stronger recoil spring should do it, as well as replacing that bumper that the bolt hits when it comes back. He said you can get harder ones, but I have no idea where..?

Has anyone else encountered that on.. well, any WE GBBR? Is a stronger recoil spring a good idea, and if so, where can I get one of those? Most of the retailers I deal with don't carry a lot in the way of WE GBBR parts...

Thanks in advance.

multi shot on semi (holding trigger down)= disconnector, trigger and/or hammer problem

Bouncing back for double feed should not occur, slowly pull the bolt carrier back, does the nozzle stay forward until 2/3 of the way? If yes there should not be a double feed, no can be but I double it (make sure you rack it with mag inserted)

bouncing bolt carrier (forward n back) is a design flaw, stronger recoil spring would reduce it.

Hmm, well I just looked at the nozzle and it moves back along with the bolt right away. I did notice the nozzle doesnt move as freely in the bolt as I exprected it to.. I lubed it up but it's still not completely smooth and free. I'm told that's OK though.

The other thing I was told is that it's possible the NPAS valve is sticking inside the nozzle, because one time it vented the whole mag after a shot, but the valve seems to move fine to me.. And after it did that, I reloaded and it worked fine.

I dunno, maybe it's time I paid the RA-tech store a visit..

loves this thread. Dude i just got my we g39 not too long ago, everything was fine until i decided to upgrade the trigger assembly with the ra tech parts. The problem is once i upgraded every part, firing pin, hammer, valve locker etc... the gun only shoots semi auto. I pull back the hammer, on semi and shoot it works. On full auto, when i pull the hammer back, n pull the trigger, the hammer won't release. I put gas into the mag n see if it would shoot, n it fully shoots on full auto. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

huh, I actually had a similar problem last night when I was screwing around with my trigger box. If you hold the box so you are looking at the right hand side of it, there's that little plate that screws onto the side with the 2 screws. Take that off. Underneath that is this little sort of U shaped piece with a spring in it. I didn't put it in properly the first time and it gave me the exact same problem as you.

Take the piece out. Make sure the hammer is forward. Then put it back in carefully and make sure it moves smoothly all the way up and down in its groove. Then put the rest of it back together and see if that fixed it.

I noticed if you try to put that piece in with the hammer back, it wont go in quite right and it wont move down all the way.

edit: this is the u shaped piece I'm talking about http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1782

His problem is that the gun doesn't even shoot in semi-auto AT ALL.
When you cock the lever it doesn't engage the hammer properly, when you switch it back to safe, then it locks the hammer in the right position. It fires once and then doesn't lock back properly again.
