Modify Tremors2 Recoil System

Hey all,

I'll be running WE GBBR as my primary this year but due to the cold start to the season, I will be running my KWA KM4A1.

Now, not knowing where exactly to post this, I want some recoil from this AEG to keep the feel of a toy gun to a minimum. I was curious if anyone here would know for certain that the Modify Tremors2 Recoil System will work in the KM4A1... which I am certain it will, I would just like confirmation.

Or do you think the recoil system is a waste of time?

Thanks,
voorhees

Recoil systems will make your toy into a sex toy. So really it's up to you.

I think its a waste of time. The recoil will be nowhere near as nice as a GBBR and it adds a horrid amount of stress to your internals. Basically you're paying to ruin your guns internals all so you can get it to vibrate a bit more.

Nothing much to do with your guns internals. It amplifies the pistons movements.

Maybe he could borrow someones naughty toy and just tape it to the gun. Same effect...well not really

Thanks guys, this will be a go... Now for a second quick question; I'm upgrading the gears to Promethus high torque from airsoftparts and I want to know what piston body to choose? Should I just use the Prometheus Hard Piston or the Modify Quantum AEG Piston, or any other consideration. I'm not planning on upgrading the head or the cylinder. Thanks.

Depends on the setup of the rest of the gun. I've heard some good things about the Quantum, but personally prefer the SHS 15 tooth. It's 1/3 the price and twice as strong.

I would personally avoid the tremors kit, and suggest you buy 3-5 extra pistons as you will probably destroy at least 2 testing the gun after installing the tremor kit.

Since you have chosen to proceed don't buy the most expensive pistons IE supercore and prometheus, as i am certain you will destroy them shortly after installation of the tremor kit. It is a really finicky thing to install.

Update, I dropped the Tremors plan, too much "what ifs" for my liking.
For repair parts for the KWA KM4A1 I went with the "Prometheus Torque Gear Set" and the "Mad Bull X Factor Piston Full Teeth". I'm going to keep the rest stock, motor, cylinder, piston head, and the like. The gears failed after the 3rd time out, so the stock parts are pretty much brand new.

Thanks for the input guys; you were a great help.
