VFC with G&P Gearbox misfeed: Looking for a Gun Doctor in Mississauga/Brampton

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I am looking for someone to have a look at my VFC.

I recently got it new, and had a brand new G&P gearbox put it.

Problem I am getting is it seems to misfeed and fire blanks after 2 shots. It appears the BB is trapped in the chamber and the air nozzle is not moving.
This remedied if I tap hard on the magazine, then it'll shoot another 2 before misfeeding again.

I've tried different, and higher end mags to no avail. I also tried pushing the mags forward into the mag catch which also doesn't seem to help.

Wondering if anyone in this area that can take a look at this.

Thanks in advance. PM is good.

if anyone has any insights as to what could be wrong is appreciated. This is my second AEG and I just been having the worst luck with both guns.

Just throwing it out there but I've read a lot on ASC that VFC lower bodies can sometimes be very particular with certain brands of magazines and proper feeding.

Make sure there is no obstructions with your hop-up chamber as well - such as the hop up sleeve sitting right on the inner barrel and even making sure your hop-up is dialed completely off.

Do you noticed the nozzel moving back and forth while the upper is separated from the lower receiver? The nozzel could appear not to be moving if it is caught up mid cycle when you release the trigger.

In my past experience any feeding issues have almost always been either some obstruction with the hop up or compression/airseal (nozzel, piston, cylinder etc..)

Also this is the post you can refer to: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=126690

Thanks for your feedback.

The gun was shooting fine when I first brought it with any type of mags. Its after the G&P gearbox was put it that the problems occurred. At the Airsoft store, it was also misfeeding but after putting in the Emag, it appeared to shoot perfectly fine. At the game the next day, it started to misfeed again no matter what mag I put inside. I am open to trying a new nozzle and new hop up unit.

Update: problem fixed. the air nozzle on the G&P was slightly long. It was shaved down and now shoots without jamming.
