first choice help

hey guys! i was just doing some gun browsing and came along a few AEG's and a GBBR that interest me, i do mainly indoor but i would like to atleast try outdoor this summer. i have about three guns that i will post the links to. (i am only 16 but i already have a utility bag to hold my rifles, and of course with my parents permission) so basically just a versitile weapon for indoor and outdoor fields

http://www.pmhobbycraft.ca/ICS-SIG552-STIICS552/

https://www.007airsoft.com/product.p...&sub=&view=177

the prices are listed on the websites so just wondering if their a good price or a rip off. (note i can make the m4 GBBR from 007 airsoft to be full metal but it wont happen anytime soon because its a good quality reciever)

The KWA is a nice gun you couldn't go wrong with it. The King Arms M4A1 (Colt trades, full metal) is also a solid purchase for a little less dough.

That's a terrible price for the ICS Sig you can find them for $260-300 elsewhere. It's a good little gun for the money, I have the 551.

The KWA is a great choice out of the box but not fully compatible with TM and that can be a problem in the futur.
The ICS SIG552 is a good airsoft but Sigs only use Sig mags unless you buy the 556 wich is usually compatible with M4 mags. Special mags can be hard to find and will cost more.
I would stick with an electric airsoft unless you have a big budget for mags and upgraded parts.

Someone mentionned the KA M4A1, I would go for the KA M4 CQB, they are very good buy's for your first airsoft. We cant help you with retailers because of the age thing, but you are paying to much if you buy those airsoft.

The ICS Sig 552 also does not come with a battery, and it can be quite tricky to fit a NIMH battery into the handguard (though it is possible). This could lead to frustration. The M4 is a much more 'friendly' choice in this regard.

That is the worst piece of advice anyone can give a noob when it comes to buying an airsoft gun.

No high quality gun ever comes with a battery and charger. Period.

Batteries included with low / mid-range guns are plain garbage and should be replaced anyway. Chargers that come with guns should be placed in the nearest trash bin as soon as the box is opened as they will ruin batteries. You should always buy a quality charger.

I will agree that fitting a standard battery into a SIG 552 is difficult.

If you go for the 552, get a LiPo battery and quality charger.

It's a statement of fact. You are entirely correct about a good battery and charger being necessary for participating in airsoft at anything more than a 'basement firing range' level. I was merely trying to suggest an airsoft gun that would be massively less frustrating (and actually usable) out of the box.

Oogee, I'll add:

'You should always plan on spending extra for a quality aftermarket battery and charger, regardless of which gun you choose.'
