Airsoft importation law question.

My friend had oredered a sniper rifle from airsplat and it just arrived yesterday. I was wondering how did he did import it? ( I don't want to buy outside of the USA. It is just a question.)

He either had his importation paperwork showing 366+ fps in order, or by pure luck (ie Customs didn't open his particular parcel)?

Had a receiver assembly pass by customs last month - ordered in error, realized after the fact.. customs didn't open it to check - pure luck.

Yes he have some paper for the custom. So if the gun is 366 fps or higher you can buy from the usa?

My last 2 packages were opened/inspected (non airsoft related, they were electronics). Before that had a few unopened and a few opened (some airsoft related others not but I never order guns or prohib items). As far as I'm concerned it's pure luck the question is are you willing to roll the dice.

It's already mentioned but either you got lucky or you actually had papers to prove it.

ALL MY ORDERS have been opened so far. And they are just parts. Nothing illegal just a couple of pistol parts and accessories.

Either way, just buy from Canadian retailers. Support the Canadian Airsoft economy! lol. Better than dealing with all the overseas shipping crap anyways. Plus, you know that 100% of the time, you'll get your gun...all the time.
