My G&G won't feed unless I hold the magazine

As the title suggests, I'm having a very annoying and frustrating problem. After inserting the magazine into the magazine well, I'll hear the click that it's secured and then I'll go to shoot. It'll put out about 2 to 3 BB's before dry firing.

I guess what's happening is that gravity is naturally pulling the magazine down, but it's such a small difference (it's gotta be only a millimeter or so) I honestly don't understand how the BB's aren't reaching the loading nozzle. In order to combat this problem, I have to take my hand, grip the magazine, and then apply upward pressure.

Is there a way to permanently remedy this? This is very annoying and I hate having to hold my gun like a paintballer (No offense to you paintballers, of course).

Take a sharp knife and nip 1mm off the retaining catch for the BBs.

When you push the mag in that is the part that contacts the feed tube of the hopup chamber. With a bit removed it will release the BB's without having to put in in as far.

Don't take off to much, and try not to let what you take off fall into the magazine.

I had this problem with mine, and I resolved it by putting a piece of valcro in the back channel of the mag well. put you mag in and push it forward if that fixes it then what i said is the fix.

I had the same problem, so I stuck a thin piece of female velcro to the rear of the mag well, and it worked perfectly. If that were still a bit loose, put some electrical tape around your mags.

Are you sure the hopup spring that pushes the hopup backward is there?
