Upgrades on My 4.3 Hi capa.
Hi there,
I'm new on hi capa and have been doing some research. There are still some questions I don't know so please bare with me if I sound pretty noobie on this. I'm trying to make my Tm hi capa in mainly black but with some parts silver(trigger, hammer, outer +spring guide(maybe more like magazine catch, mid frame to silver but maybe later). Then everything else black. I got a Tm 4.3 hi capa and I'm thinking about upgrading it. I already have a FF inner barrel, recoil/hammer spring. I was thinking about getting the purple 9ball hop up bucking and the 9ball dyna piston head as my last internal upgrade for the gun as I don't know what other stuff to upgrade on the gun. I'm getting a SD infinity slide because I'm going to use green gas. I also wanted to get an outer barrel for the gun but all I see are the front of the outerbarrel from SD and not the chamber. Will the 5.1 chamber fit the 4.3 so I can buy the 4.3 Sd barrel or will it not work? I was also reading that the chamber can destroy the metal slide, but will SD chamber+outerbarrel and the SD metal slide fit perfectly so it wouldn't get destroyed? Would getting a new hammer/trigger help my gun or is it mostly for external looks? So right now my upgrades for the whole gun would be Sd slide Sd chamber(if I can find one..) + outerbarrel FF inner barrel FF spring guide + hammer 9Ball Dyna head + hopup bucking. PDi Spring guide Tk grips Thanks -LoveYuri |

It really depends on how you would like your hi capa to become.... you would like it to be more powerful? More accurate? More stable? more durable? the link below should helps you to find the answer
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=94413 the trigger is pretty much just for the look, you can adjust the pull length but it doesn't really have much of an effect......... However the hammer do gives a lighter and smoother trigger pull. I suggest you change the sear spring as well if you want a lighter and smoother pull as it's not expensive and it's pretty effective "easy as well". Can't give an exact answer on the chamber size as i only carry 5.1, but when i put my 5.1 with my friend's 4.3 the length are pretty much the same.... the metal slides, chamber and outer barrel should be very durable and it should last for a quite a while so you shouldn't be worry about that part "assuming they are all metal". piston heads and the hop up rubber: Don't think they would make a huge different... I put the hop up bucking in for my 5.1 and it doesn't really made a lot of a difference.... so i guess you can wait until the stock ones get worn down.. have fun modding your hi capa man!! |
