Wiring Upgrade HELP NEEDED~
Hello all. A while back, I made a thread which asked about a problem, which turned out to be the wiring on my JG G36C.
That problem was solved, but I was always wondering why I couldn't power my gun with a simple NiMh instead of being forced to go LiPo. After some testing.....I discovered that the NiMh was perfectly fine if I removed the frontal copper wiring. Which means that when connected directly to the upgraded silver wiring of the gearbox, I could fire fine in Semi and Auto with a NiMh. Now my question is....where can I find an efficient set of frontal wires for my G36C? Basically, I want a low resistance set which will allow me to use a NiMh instead of LiPos because I honestly do not think LiPos that small can be any good.

Don't use speaker wire. The insulation is very prone to tearing and the gauge of the wire is very thin.
We sell Milspec wire by the foot: http://www.airsoftstore.ca/index.php...products_id=69 |

LiPo's in the same dimensions as NiMH will actually provide more power output, and more battery life.
That's the whole reason people use LiPo lol |

dunno if this is suitable for mechbox applications, but...
16 AWG red http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9681 16 AWG black http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9680 14 AWG red http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9678 14 AWG black http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9679 prices by the metre hobbyking has all sorts of cool stuff for batteries, connectors and chargers. i've ordered a lot from them lately. for plug and play applications, airsoftparts / airsoft depot often have fully (silver) wired trigger switches terminating in the appropriate connectors... specifically what you may be looking for is this: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1642 i also found these http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=33593 http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=27983

any rc hobby shop will have the low resistance silver wiring. All you have to do is solder it in.

Don't use speaker wire or any kind of "stiff" wire. Those are great wires if you want to develop a short. This also goes for the stuff you find in most electronics stores and even some hobby stores. If it isn't as soft as a wet noodle, don't use it.
You should be using the wire sold by Hobby King, or the stuff Stealth sells in his shop. That type of wiring is great. Rewiring the JG G36 is a great idea, since the stock wiring is absolutely terrible and forces you to pump current through no fewer than two Tamiya connectors. By the way, if you're already in Stealth's shop buying wire and really want a sweet upgrade for your G36, I recommend grabbing that small-type SHS high torque motor. Properly shimmed, and fed the right amount of juice, it is a superb motor with excellent response.
