Guarder or Systema bore-up or not at all?
HEY GUYS!
SO there has been word that bore up cylinder kits (includes Cylinder, cylinder head, nozzle and piston head) increases fps without adding on much additional stress on the gearbox. I personally have a m4 dmr build with a 550mm barrel. What I am realizing is that not only is the stock compression bad (King Arms), but the fps of each shot even decreased after the installation of a prometheus 6.03 550mm barrel. Although this might be a bucking defect, I am willing to invest in a bore-up kit. SO, for the money, is the Systema bore-up kit better or is the guarder? Since I live in Hong Kong, the Systema is only around 30USD more expensive than the Guarder, and money isnt really an issue. Also, what is the N-B set by systema? I've never heard on it until recently. Is it any good? MANY THANKS! |

I've heard it too, but you don't need bore up unless you go past 550, but you're right on the acceptable line for it.
The downside to the bore up kit is you don't know how MUCH fps it adds, so you might think you've fixed your air leak, but are in fact still 30fps short of target. Systema>guarder But I recommend fixing your air seal problem as best as you can first. New piston head, air nozzle, and hop rubber. |
