CA P90 TR upper rail extension
Like the topic says I'm looking for a rail extension. The idea being that I can put my light on the front of my gun. This allows me to peak around corners/trees with more ease. I do not want to mount my light under the barrel, it must be above. I'm saving the bottom for a diy laserex mod
$100 seems a wee bit steep for this type of mod. Anyone know of an alternative? I own a CA P90 TR proline. EDIT: pics added note: my wife isn't a player and doesn't know about muzzle integrity. She held the gun upright for 30 seconds so I could take these pics for you. Please don't bust balls about her finger being on the trigger of this unloaded P90 ;] Last edited by sabinn; October 28th, 2012 at 17:24.. Reason: added pics |

that's an accessory for the RDS version anyways.
what's wrong with using the standard side rail? |

Granted, I'm asking if anyone has seen one for a TR
I do not want to. Last edited by sabinn; September 25th, 2012 at 16:59.. |

highly unlikely. The only airsoft p90 rails are that ugly nitro one, and the laylax/first factory single flat top rail or tri rail that fit on the RDS.. They go for 55-90$ They're all relatively short.
Then you get into the one you linked which is real steel at quite a reasonable price actually. Beyond the FN flat top which goes for mucho $$$. you COULD try and make your own... buy 2 lengths of rail, one shorter than the other screw them back to back and find a way to secure it to your existing tri rail. But the back of that flash light backs into the cavity where the factory red dot sight sits. The trirail p90 doesn't have that opening so you'd really have to extend it out to make enough room for a flashlight/pressure switch cap to fit. Firstly you need a RDS P90 Receiver (the one that comes with the built in RDS). A TR WILL NOT EVEN allow the use of a rail like that.
Almost all RS P90's aftermarket parts are for the built in RDS version, so no there is no version for a TR. Secondly you will be required to do some metal work on your receiver if you plan on getting that RS rail. It's possible, you just risk ruining a upper in the process. $100 for that rail too, that's a steal. You can pick yourself up a RDS upper for around $100- $150ish last time I checked. So you'll find yourself at about $200+ once your done. Worth the effort if this is your primary, you will be the first in canada to do something like this , at least what I have seen. I suggest what lurkingknight said though, buy 2 new rails (one long and short) and just do it yourself. Might look wonky but best way if your not willing to dish out some mad doe on it. |

Last time I looked into it, you could get a G&P one for $100 ish but I opted and just got an entire KS RDS P90 instead haha

For my CA P90 Proline, aside from purchasing a CA RDS upper, are all other vendors compatible or are there some that fit better than others?

TM and CA fit the best. I have a CA RDS upper I am willing to sell, pm me for details as it's in the AV fs section. I'll let it go for cheap just cause I don't want it sitting around. And... I'll be in toronto for turkey weekend so you can even get it without shipping.
