VFC M4 or the WE Katana?
I basically do not see myself doing any upgrades or changes to the gun I eventually buy. So, having said that, which of these aforementioned M4s will be the best buy so that I do not have to do anything crazy to them? aside from any repairs obviously. As for looks, I do like the VFC as I have heard the externals are very good, but an M4 is an M4 so, id the WE far off? Thank you for your help. I just want to get some value for when I do actually buy either one. I am glad that I have mach1 and AT at my disposal so I can just swing by very soon. Thank you for your help guys. |

I will personally vouch for VFC, owned the following Quake, mk12, and currently hk416 all by VFC. I have also heard great things about the katana all comes down to personal preference.

I've never touched the WE Katana yet but I LOVE my VFC. I've owned probably... 30 different guns from various companies and VFC has superior build quality both internally and especially externally.

Thanks guys. I think I may go with VFC... I really just want good internals as I do not want to mess with anything.

Go with the VFC, the WE katana hasn't been around long enough for us to know the problems. And good luck finding parts for it lol
If you find the performance on the VFC lacking, first thing to do is upgrade the hop rubber. |

VFC
Go see Rich at Mach1. He will set you up Laurel. The internals in the VFC are amazing. I have both G&P and VFC and the VFC is arguably a tighter gun with much better shit inside. You can easily drive it in the ground. I have no issue with the G&P but the main dealer for this has so many hit an miss things going on with this I don't know what to believe. Go to VFC. Its going to cost you a few bucks more, but I can assure you a few games in, you will be smiling with yur cheek resting against the VFC M4 with the cost of it in the rear view mirror. . Actually the Katana uses a lot of standard V2 internals, so upgrading and getting parts isn't that hard. The gearbox shell is another story. As for stock guns, VFC is much better than WE, but (this is only my opinion) I personally don't care for VFC's internals. Some of parts and methods they use to build the gearbox, I really don't like. Comparing to other mid-high end brands on the market, they're up there and better than most.
