Well damn Fox, you got me convinced.. brb while I take the sacrificial lenses and ARD out of my NVG's and Elcan because they have curved glass...

Protecting your potential thousand(s) dollar investment with a Tenebraex ARD or a sacrificial lens is, and always will be cheap effective insurance for optics. You've invested a considerable amount of money into an optic.. To not invest a little more to protect it from the gear demolition durby that IS Airsoft just comes across as careless to me.

But hey, to each his own. I'll post up my Elcan's ARD tonight.

I only had one, and it's in the dumpster (parts I can salvage off are taken before the rest was tested for durability)

They don't make Killflash for something like a T1 though...

Next time you play CQB, go for the optics. That's your live test!

Just bought a few of those protectors for 10 dollars, Im also getting some for holo sights. After seen some pictures of shattered optics I had to get some. Definitely worth it.

While I agree to having a killflash saves the optic, I'd rather go for a plexiglass sacrificial lens. Killflash darkens my sight too much for lowlight CQB.
Though, with plexiglass, you might have a lesser clear sight, which sucks on a RS sight.
'Specially Eotech plexi lens protectors.
