Looking at that pic you should be fine with a MICH or OPS Core style helmet, you can adjust the pads locations to leave a cavity for your implants to fit and be protected.

I'll just point out that you shouldn't rule out bike helmets for fear of looking/feeling like a tool. Seems a lot of guys use those common round Pro-Tec helmets and either paint them or throw covers on. When it comes to safety you should always consider function before form.

Agreed especially seein as the pro tec helmet made for skatebording and bmx is almost identical to the "military" type.

Coat of green or tan paint maybe some velcro and a rail and noone will be the wiser.
Tho for the price you can buy a decent replica ot a mich or fast from airsoftdepot (meaning for the cost of helmet paint and a rail or two you could buy a rdy to go helmet)
Maybe a FAST with the side cover attachment?
Or yes the mich 2000 has lots of side protection

I would suggest talking to "deafshooter" as he is also a deaf individual that plays Airsoft in MB.

I was thinking the same thing when i saw the pic: bike or skateboard helmets with a foam shell on the inside, you'd probably have to cut out a part of it. But MICH style helmets with adjustable pads (velcro) you could just position the pads around the implant AND the helmet would come down far enough to protect the implant from impacts from most angles.

The oversized mesh lower looks like it may be large enough to cover you, but depending on how large your head is. I'd say go try one of those out and see how it works.
