RA-Tech is happy to ship to Canada, and they are pretty familiar with the import process. PM me if you're serious about ordering from RA-Tech and I can lend you a hand.
+1 with the RA-Tech Level 1/2/3 EBRs. Massive performance boosts is every department, you do get what you pay for. Had one of the first WE M14s in Canada a while back. You'll find a big kicker is the money you're spending on mags, and getting little capacity in return ($70 a mag for 20 round mag capacity). Fun gun to play with though. |

can probably source an original barrel direct from WE or Evike, for that price Id keep it seriously in mind, its worth the money just for its mags and RAtech parts, if you build an EBR on it you can sell the wood stock for like $100+ on its own

I've got a G&G m14ebr, I like it a lot, very heavy and semi can be finicky. having said that it's very accurate and has been trouble free for 2 seasons. 370fps out of the box, 17rps on a 9.6. Look and feel is amazing. you won't feel any recoil or anything though (she's too heavy even if it had a recoil system!). If you want recoil without going gas, look at "Bolt", I picked up a bolt b4 sopmod and the recoil is as strong, or stronger than any gbbr i've fired.

I owned a WE M14 EBR in the past, and it was damn heavy, but had the hardest kick I have ever experienced from a GBBR. Instead, I custom made a second WE M14 Socom and upgraded all the internals with RAtech parts. Everything works really well (surprisingly from RAtech) including the complete trigger assembly, except for the ejection cover (#101) which may get stuck occasionally. This is still something that I need to mod to make it work properly (just don't have time yet). Other than that, the WE M14 is a great plinker and very realistic. Here is mine:
WE M14 Base Rifle (Stock custom painted) FALCON 6.03 Precision Inner Barrel for WE M14 GBB (540mm) King Arms Spring Return Bipod (Long) King Arms OPS Model 3rd MBS Silencer (230mm) for M733 Leapers 3-12X40 Full Size AO Mil-dot Scope Guarder M14 Bipod Mount Swivel (GD-BP-M1402-AG) Guarder Ammo Cheek Pad for Rifle/Shotgun (Black) Guarder M14 RAS Kit for Marui OD/Wood Type AEG RA-Tech CNC steel WE M14 NO.101 (RAG-WE--058) RA-Tech WE M14 Socom Version (RAG-WE-044) RA-Tech Steel Tappet for WE M14 GBB (RAG-WE-029) RA-Tech Real Function Bolt Catch & Part No.53 (RAG-WE-038) RA-Tech Bolt Stop (Part No.03) (RAG-WE-046) RA-Tech CNC Part No.43, 49 (RAG-WE-041) RA-Tech M14 Complete Trigger Box (RAG-WE052) Last edited by turok_t; October 6th, 2017 at 23:01.. |
