Need help ID a NVG mount

So got this in a deal.

I've already saw this mount on a old fart's helmet in Afghanistan so I think it's a Canadian mount.

Any info will be appreciated !

That is a 1st GEN NVG mount for the CF gallent helmets, the 2nd gen helmet mount was simplified with metal circle and two straps coming off the rear of it.
