G&G GR16 R4 question
I bought a G&G GR16 R4 from a friend and was wondering if anyone has any previous experience with this rifles internals? I cant find anything on it. I want to upgrade it but i dont want to if i dont know its internals and feel weary taking it apart. It has a ABS lower receiver and the rest of the externals are metal. It is a solid stock with the battery compartment in the back. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It should be a "version 2" gearbox inside. Most AEG AR platform airsoft guns are built on the v2.
The v2 design is from a company called Tokyo Marui, and almost every AEG manufacturer since then has copied the design, and is by far the most common gearbox design. So if you do a google search for a version 2 gearbox takedown, you'll find what you need, even if it's for a gun from a different company. |

Pretty much your standard V2. No hidden surprises. I have one of these modded for a 30rps ROF and I consider it my 'go-to' AEG.
