Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

The vector has the shorty mags now so you can use pistol pouches and go prone with it.
There's also a mag release adapter to use the mag release as you would on an M4. And did I mention it shoots really far and accurately with no upgrades? |

MSKs are already shipping V2s (they have a grey nozzle and "shielding" around the gaz feed port, not just a drop-in M4 nozzle but they still work as replacement).
I am running my V1 MSK as primary now. It's a really nice gun, but as some said it needs some adjustment and a good break-in. I found that the bolt carrier had flashings all around and cleaned that up. Also the paint on the hammer and underside of the bolt is somewhat sticky when it starts to wear down, so you are better scrapping or filing it, it will accelerate the "break-in". Regular M4 STANAGs usually don't lock the bolt on empty, however the PMAGs (MSK stock mag) do lock every time and work perfectly in M4s and SCARs (tested). The Vector is a unique looking gun for sure. There is a local team that ran them (4-5) for a little over a year. They all started to have issues with their guns, and with no apparent damage to any parts, it's a pain to find the problem and order the correct part. About that, parts are relatively easy to get from KWA directly, but no one stocks these anywhere. Your gun will be down for 2-3 weeks everytime and again if you don't order double of the broken parts. That this as 2nd hand feedback, but I would still go with the MSK. For me it just feels really good to handle. P.S. G&P/PTS polymere handguard do not fit right-on, but there is very little modification to do with an X-Acto to make it fit. A&K handguard do not fit (too many dimention differences to modify to fit). |
