We G17 Blowback question

hi,
I have 3 ''G'' guns from We, two G17 and one G19 and a ISSC M22 (use same valves as the G17/19).

One of my G17 have a verry verry strong blowback, and my other G17/19 and ISSC have a normal blowback.
I swap the mags, still same blowback in each gun, so it's not the mag that make a difference.

I noticed that in my G17 that has the strongest blowback, the loading nozzle is tighter on the blowback oring, don't move freely as the other guns... could this be the cause?? I am not complaint about a strongest blowback, the gun seams to use the gas wiser than the other guns... can I upgrade this oring on my other guns for tighter one?? if it's the cause??

thanks

Well the slide could be heavier, or the whole blow back unit could somehow be heavier than your other Glocks. What I noticed when I upgraded my Echo1 Timberwolf with a modified WE Glock 17 slide assembly was that the recoil was more noticeable. However I noticed the slide was lighter, but the BBU was way heavier.

thanks for taking time to reply!
I swapped the loading nozzle and the valve assembly that came with it to another glock and the heavy recoil follow this assembly, so it's not the slide, but something in this assembly, verry strange, side by side, they look the same...

Well this was me when I got my Echo1 Timberwolf ''Pew Pew Pew'' meh not bad.
Several months later, I installed the new War Version We Glock 17 slide with the WE upgraded nozzle, zero hammer, recoil spring and red dot. '' PEW PEW PEW ''
'' Wow '' thats the thing with WE guns, they always have decent kick to them.

Better airseal in the blow-back chamber is definitely a contributing factor in both gas efficiency and recoil.
Also the WE slide may be heavier.

Out of curiosity how do you like the WE G19? I just ordered one to replace a WE G17 due to the holster fitting issues (have many G17 RS holsters).

Dude, I think WE Glocks are off spec. They are slightly wider unless you change out the slide. Another alternative is heating up the any Kydex holsters to fit your WE Glocks.

Apparently just the G17, which is why it's now sold. The G19 is supposed to fit.

My holsters are also used with RS Glock product so I'd prefer to avoid screwing them up.

I did a test to see what make this difference, still not found the main exact reason, but close. I dismount two slides, one normal and my hard kick one.
Swap each part, one by one to isolate wich part makes the difference. Tought it was the valve or a gasket... no! and surely not the slide, same weight, same thing.
verry strange, the part that stick with the hard kick is the loading nozzle housing (metal casing or metal frame). This part seams to be the part that makes the difference, verry strange, no gasket to this part, it only hold the blowback round gasket and loading nozzle. Maybe it's a bit thicker and push the loading nozzle closer to the magazine output hole to make a better seal??
Will try to add verry thin shim on my other one to see if it's the cause. I looked verry closely the two housing and they look the same, same dimensions... verry strange.

Maybe it's another cause, but when I swap this part from one slide to the other (part alone with no valve and no gasket), the hard blowback stick to the gun that contain this part....

For the G19 question, it shoot as good as the G17, but same slide dimensions than the G17, just shorter.
The real Glock have a smaller slide dimension, both in height and width.
A good way to fit your G17 in a tight holster, is to wrap your gun with plastic bag, then tape it all around where the slide meet the holster, this will add a thin layer to your slide to make it even more large. Then heat up your holster to make it more soft (wear gloves!!!), then force your G17 into the holster (with the plastic bag and tape.) than put into cold water or in the refrigerator until your hoslter came cold, than remove your gun, tape and bag, this shoud do the job. The bag is to protect your slide from the glue of the tape.
