The last 5% (hopup issues)

Hey all

So I am 95% there with this build but am having some hop issues. Its a socom gear mk18. Its got a pretty much completely upgraded gearbox. Magic box cylinder, lonex head, SHS nozzle, SHS 13:1 gears, delayer clip, SHS piston, Magic box piston head, sorbo, M110 spring, mosfet, 16 AWG, matrix 3000 motor, and perhaps most importantly a prowin hopup with a maple leaf 75 degree bucking and nub.

What I'm finding is that the first 10-15 bbs go maybe 30 ft at low velocity then its like the hop up seats correctly and the rest goes perfectly. When I just keep it jammed back against the gearbox with the screw the bbs won't feed correctly. Any ideas how I can resolve this?

Thanks!

May be a mag/BB compatibility issue.

Sounds like the mags can't push the heavy BBs

Load 15 bb's. Do you still get the range issue off the bat?

problem seems resolved for now. I realized the spacer at the end of my barrel had shifted and was no longer supporting my barrel causing a misalignment.
