Echo1 Timberwolf/ WE Glock Short Stroking

I am having more problems with short stroking. I have added a RA-Tech Glock recoil spring guide and a Guarder Steel Outer barrel in a extra slide assembly and it seems to be short stroking. If I use the Guarder outer barrel with a different recoil spring it seems to improve cycling but not by much. If I add the recoil spring it short strokes all the time. Is there a break in period for the Guarder outer barrel? Should I modify it in any way? Should I cut the RA-Tech recoil spring down?

Is there a reason why the Ra-Tech Recoil Spring is so stiff?

I can only see two things, one the spring is meant for a co2 pistol or or that the spring is for a heavier slide

The outer barrel should be irrelevant, it doesn't move, unless it is causing the slide to drag.

I wouldn't cut the spring, otherwise there's really no point in having it.

Check and make sure your nozzle isn't cracked, also since you put a steel slide on you should be using high flow valves.
