VSR10 Cylinder Heads
I'm looking specifically at the First Factory Cylinder head for the VSR10. In the package, there's the main body of the head, and then 5 nozzles with varying output sizes. Why are the nozzles different sizes? What's the advantage of purchasing the cylinder head with the selection of nozzles, opposed to grabbing the cylinder head with the single, fixed nozzle instead?
Second question is: Can one install a standard inner barrel for an AEG into the VSR10? I've looked at the barrels, and they seem compatable, but my concern is the hop-up area. Any thoughts anybody? Cheers, Brent

Nope, can't install a regular aeg barrels onto the VSR because the hop up is different, the little notches on the barrel differ from AEG ones.
However, there is a relatively new item out at WGC and all those other places which is a new hop up assembly. This hop chamber takes regular AEG barrels instead of VSR specific ones. Its called the laylax air seal chamber or something. http://www.wgcshop.com/WGC_Shop/imag...t_pss10asc.jpg dunno if its any good, but i hear a few people getting that and getting a 6.01 AEG barrel for it. |
