Steel Glock Molded Non-Firing Replica? (need a little help)

Hi guys;

18 here and a airsoft fan for some time. Ive been able to aquire a real molded police holster (and alll the awesome pouches too!) and am having a little trouble. Since the holster is molded, I need to get a hold of a replica that will fit it - being as how the laws are..uh..vague with airsoft in canada, a none-firing steel replica is what i need.

Now - ive seen the perfect replica before. An uncle is a police officer, and during training they used weighted glock steel replicas in there holster -

Now - im not sure actually what that thing would be called. Non firing replica? Or what. Mainly; where can i aquire one? or are they even legal? Any guidance would be great, Theres a halloween party soon!

‘Fraid I can’t help you with most, but 1 thing:

Halloween party? BAD.
Replica guns don’t seem to go well at those, especially replica police Glocks. You want to go with one, paint the front temporarily (But EXTREMELY noticeably) blaze orange.

They're nice and illegal, no way to get them without props licence (that's how the retailers get airsoft) and it's not like you can get someone to import it for you like airsoft, that's illegal too, (to sell/give it to you)

i doubt very much that those would be legal at all. the police can get them because they are not required to conform to the firearms act (same with the military). the only reason airsoft may or may not be legal is that between the cfc, rcmp and dept. of justice can't agree where exactly a replica with the capacity to cause serious bodily injury (eye and skin penetration) fits into the framework of the act. because a non-firing replica is not in the jurisdiction of the cfc, it is black letter law. it is illegal to possess unless you've had it since before jan1/98 and it is illegal to import. it would be easier to just get an airsoft glock 18c. your holster may have been made for the glock 22 and i believe the 18c and 22 have similar size and dimensions.

Red guns, blue guns, any brightly colored or gun is fine, but DO NOT bring an Airsoft gun to the public.. a Halloween party is classed as public.
