You could've just gotten a No. 2A. And put that in the weep hole, where it was designed for the gas to come out. But since TM M14 is not gas powered, you don't have to worry about that.

Read this article: http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=98465

They also teach you to just drill a hole, and put in the No. 2A, then use epoxy.

I'm putting mine into that weep hole like Blastyman did.

If you want to use the number No. 6 and No. 6A or the No. 2. Some modifications has to be done like the one in the article.
Read this following article http://home.hawaii.rr.com/dighawaii/...%20Version.htm

I'd go for the easy way, to just take advantage of the weep hole.
I found most of information I need, hehe.

Ok almost got me wood stock on the TM m14 done.

Just need to do a bit of final fitting, finish up battery compartment and remove a bit of material to mount the butt plate properly.

But I am very close

Not bad for 25$ and sweat equity.

I will probably sand it down and refinish it a bit. Got lots of tape residue and other gunk on it. I will keep the deep scratchs and dents though. :-)

I've got an M14 on the way as well. You know the feeling, when you're waiting for a really cool gun, but you know it's gonna be another week? Man I hate that, I'm hard for the M14 NOW!

For the Marui M14 owners, how do you guys find the stock length? If you can compare it to the stock of an SR16/M16, for example, is it much longer? I'm about 5'9" and considering getting one, this is my only issue - whether I'll be able to handle it comfortably.

Thanks in advance.

Well, $25 is a lot better than $250...
