Another member of the family G&G....

Another rifle has made it into my growing family. Current members include - ICS M4A1, TMAK47, KJW M9, and now the G&G AK 104 upgraded to shoot 420 fps :kill: Alas, the gun has a feed issue which is easily solved by using a TM AK magazine but takes some pressure to lock it in cause of the rubber pad up in there that prevents mag wobble. The stock 74 type magazine does not sit flush in the mag well.
here are a few snaps I took when it first arrived last week, I was kinda lazy in putting them up

Field....um... bed stripped ;D

Very nice, Very clean. Lovin it.

Just curious, where are you going to play with a 420fps gun?

400 is TMAX for aeg's at pretty much every field.

420, wow. Ridiculous for an AEG. Nice piece though.

Prodigy Airsoft in the US is selling AEG's pre-equipped to 450fps at the cost of 150 bucks. I don't want to be the guy on the receiving end of that. :smack:

looks good man, 420 only stings for a couple mins longer  4 of us out of our squad last year recived some sprs that are shootn 475.. with 20s pretty wicked range lots of fun.. a good 2 dozen of us up here are shootin around 450

hows the gun shoot? i love g&g's but we've run into quite a bit of shady assembly from factory, easily fixed by our team mech but still a pain when a person drops a chunk of change.

Nice luggage sling you got there - that is a strap from some bag, is it?

yup that's a poor men's sling, it does the job. I modified it and removed the metal tabs, and replaced it with a weird Velcro mix  the gun shoots great, minus the feed problem with the stock G&G mag. And what also gets me angry is that you have to unscrew the butt-plate to drop in the battery. :banghead:

Well hey if you're ever in Kelowna and want to use it we have pretty lenient FPS rules set in our club. So bring it. Most people think we're nuts but fact is our engagement range is usually a lot more then most other places I've seen or played at. Sure we get a few close combat situations but if you're smart about what you're using there's not a whole lot of issues.

Amen brother. The higher the risk, the more cautious the player.
