That looks pretty good. I am using mouse pads(the damn things multiply at an amazing rate) for the padding because they have rubber or foam padding on one side and plastic on the other for stiffness. My biggest problem is trying to get the size right. Is there anything inside or is it just a hollow pouch? Also is the bottom sewn shut all the way?

mine is open on the bottom. size wise before it was sewn together was 7" top to bottom and 8" wide , it will hold my glock 19 or glock 17 or usp (but this one is a tight fit) just use paper or cardboard cut outs untill you find the size that works for your sidearm
