CIRAS Help needed
Well I got my CIRAS today (land version), and the first thing I did was put it on and pull the "pillow" to make it fall apart. Worked like a charm. So then I went about putting it back together and getting it all adjusted properly for me, and I got it together once, and did it all again. Problem is I forgot how the pull pillow onto the cable the second time... either that or it was dumb luck the first time. Anyways, all the pictures and how to's I've found on the internet are for the maritime version which is a little more straightforward to put together then the land version and it doesn't have the pull pillow.
Anyone? |

Lol buddy, still have problems with it? If so, we should meet, I'm trying to figure mine out too. Two heads are better than one to think about how this works.

bring the cable through the bottom of the ciras and up to the side of the vest and out of the hole ( either left or right side where the pillow locks into). once the cable is out of the side of the vest grab the pillow. It should have a small paracord loop on it. bring the cable through the loop and then the cable goes through the rest of the side of the vest in that little cord tunnel and out by the shoulder where it does into the shoulder one.

Oh I see, so once the cable is pulled out enough, it dissengages all the connections at the small of your back and so the waist connections get freed up and you can just quickly get out and toss your rig, right?
