1-pull the stock release pin all the way to the bottom, pull stock off
2-unscrew the tail cap 3-remove buffer tube via the phillips screw in the buffer tube 4-unscrew the mototr plate ( under the grip) 5-remove motor, don't lose the little round plate. 6-remove front grips 7-unclip the two wires off the fuse plate 8 unpin the receiver 9-remove upper from lower 10-unscrew the pistol grip 11-unscrew the mag release 12-unscrew the feed tube 13-unscrew the little wire holder in front of the feed tube 14-remove cross pin 15-wiggle the mechbox out of the lower, a little prying force will be needed that should be it

pull the wires off, remove motor, take 2 screw out of the grip there.
To wire it to the front, your gonna need to take the mechbox apart too and rewire it so the wires come out the front, you cant just put them from the back to the front, gonna need to rewire it. |

Just be warned that opening the mechbox is one thing, putting it back together is entirely another. You may wish to seek the services of a trained gunsmith to help you, and ask him if its ok to watch him work, its really helps to see someone proficient go through it once. That piece that fell out is the motor plate that fits in the bottom of the hand guard cap. It allows the grub screw on the bottom of the cap to push the motor into alignment with the gears just right. You need this piece, or a similar replacement or you will ruin the teeth on your motor gear, if it even fires at all. Vondnik did warn of this in his list ;0) Sometimes when I lose small pieces, I sweep (or vacuum if you must) and go through the dust pan until I find it.
