Freddy get one of you parents to bring you out to one of the games in Saskatchewan (either Regina or one of the few we host in Moose Jaw), between us players here we have just about every gun you've mentioned in various different version and stages of stock vs. upgraded not only internally but external as well.

Are you refering to the TM version SOCOM? Have you ever tried propane in it? The mags are unable to handle propane and require some serious tinkering ... good with a dremel and like headaches? Sure, go with a crappy, cheap plasticy TM Socom. You'll love it ... or is that love to hate. Ya, the second one.

FREDDY
Unless you have large hands the Eagle is just too damn huge. My hands are not exactly tiny but the gun is monsterous.

Glocks work great and are accurate. I personally hate them but that's only due to preference, nothing performance wise.

I own a number of full metal KJW M9's ... not for everyone but that is the one and only gun I would suggest. Be sure to get the new version with hop-up. That is the absolute only downside of the old ones, no hopup. They are still accurate, but it's nice to have some adjustability.

Also Freddy, try reading more and posting less m'kay? There's lots of information readily available on this site.

If you're still looking at the desert eagle, there is a nice metal slide version on RedWolf: KWC Metal Slide Desert Eagle
It's the first one at the top. I can't comment on the quality as I have never owned it. But if I were you I would go with a 1911 of sorts (I'm a 'big gun' guy myself, plus I like the classic style) like this one: WA S.C.W. Ver.3 Colt Government M1911A1 Military
Once again I cannot personally comment on the quality of this gun, but one of my buddies owns it and it hasn't failed him so far.
