need more input:
-is this lubricant an aerosol packaged oil? -what are the contents stated on the package? The reason I ask these q's is that some silicone lubricants are packaged with solvent thinners which may not be compatible with GBB materials. It's hard to keep track of all of the possible solvent carriers and all of the GBB materials so I only recommend the use of pure silicone oil as it has a significant compatible usage history. You can either use pure silicone oil packaged by AI, or silicone oils packaged by R/C hobby companies like Trinity for shock damping (I recommend 10wt or 5wt).

I like a light dab of white lithium grease on piston orings and slide rails (wipe it off of rails, all you need is a very thin film). It's not suitable for shooting into a mag though b/c it's too thick.

See reply in this post:
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showpos...39&postcount=2 Unless you're referring to airsoft-specific spray silicone oil, which does not contain any harmful chemicals (petroleum distillates) to airsoft materials. |
