i used a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the clip (45) at the end of the recoil guide. as for part 90, yes, knock that out carefully, its a bitch to get out. Once you slide on the new hammer spring, be very careful when putting it back together, the new spring is longer than the old one.
Good Luck!

Glad I could help, mate!
The MSH swap should be fairly easy. Thank god you're not dealing with a gun that's got a leaf spring. God damn 1911s.. |

If it's anything like the KSC Mk23, there's a small C-clip at the frot end of the recoil rod, use a small slotted jereller's screwdriver to start it off, then needlenosed pliers to grab it and pull the rest of the way off. When installing, hold everything with your fingers (compressed spring, C-clip, etc.) on one hand and use pliers to snap the clip and the rod together. Pretty easy, as long as you don't have to spend any time crawling around on the floor looking for parts.

Use a punch or allen key and hammer the split pin out. I actually did that to my Mk23, rearranged all the stock parts and have a fast cycling Mk23 now, almost as fast if not fast (and shorter) than both my KSC G19s do. Seems to shoot harder now since there's more time for the gas to expand.

is the split pin the thing with the hole in it? if i hammer it out will it go back in like it locks in place or something? your talking about the big metal thing in the middle of the rod right? or are you takling about the one at the end of the rod

The big metal donut in the middle (in front of the smaller spring) has a hole in it, hammer out the pin inside it, the donut will move around freely afterwards.
