M4QD Flashhider + TM AUG = fit?
Title pretty much says it all,
I have a TM AUG SR-Type and I want to drop a KAC M4QD Silencer on it, just wondering if it will fit correctly on an AUG Barrel as I have zero experience with armalites. I also have the shorty barrel and would like to know if it will fit there as well without modification. For reference here are the parts: Flashhider+Silencer : http://www.uncompany.com/images/guar...cer-09_big.jpg Short type barrel : http://www.uncompany.com/images/Guarder-AUG-02_big.jpg Thanks in advance! |

the pictures don't help.
What WOULD help is knowing what the thread of the barrel you have is, and what the silencer attaches to. Normally for Armalite silencers, it should be 14mm Counter Clock Wise, just check your barrel and the silencer description |

I just looked up the uncompany website and that silencer is released with both type of threads, 14mm Clockwise AND Counter-Clockwise. So just find out what your barrel's thread is and buy the version that matches it.

QD silencer goes over the flashhider, so knowing what threads they are is pointless. You'd have to look at your aug one and see if is has the grooves near the base like the M4 FH

I was under the impression every TM AEG was a 14mm CCW thread. Sorry for the confusion if I am mistaken on that.
I was more concerned with small details I might not have been made aware of by reading about my gun for 3 seconds. like flashhider overlap on armalite barrels for instance... if the AUg's barrel was to thick it may not sit properly etc. The augs barrel is a 14mm ccw thread with a groove in the bottom where the small alan key screw tightens on to fix it in place. I think they are compatable after more research, I just wanted to be sure |

if youre looking at the CA qd silencer, it will not fit the aug flash hider ( it didnt on mine). youll have to go with an armalite style birdcage flash-hider.
