Silencer Options

Good day everyone. I am currently looking at modifying my KJW M700 Takedown with a working Silencer to muffle the gas sound a bit. Not sure how to go about doing that. Any and all serious suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Slencers dont reduce the sound of airsoft guns, its just that simple.

Actually they do. My SOCOM Pistol is a lot more quieter with the silencer on. It absorbs the sound of the gas as it comes out. Since the KJW is a gas BA I was wondering if there is maybe an adaptor or something that may work.

Quit that crap your smoking and read the post above, lol!!!

The M700 with a silencer is the quietest gun there is, even more quiet than a Marui SOCOM MK23. You can do like I did and drill out the muzzle break (if you could call it that) and install a silencer adapter with either threading depending on the silencer you chose. A SOCOM silencer is enough to completely muffle the sound, but it looks too small and goofy for the M700. You can either permanently attach it with an adhesive (if you get the adapter to fit snug enough in your new hole) or drill in a couple of set screws opposed by 90 degrees to grip the adapter.

This way allows you to unscrew the silencer if you wish and takes about 15 minutes to do once you have the parts. I did see someone sell the adapter aftermarket though, so you can check out WGC, Redwolf, etc.

Imagine 500+ fps and silent as a squirrel fart. You can't ask for much more in airsoft.

Thanks Mcgyver. That is what I am looking for is a M700 the sound of a squirrel fart. And just because I am in a good mood, the first time I get you in my sights is a freebee...us Alberta guys have to stick together.
