A big piece of shag carpet at a 45 degree angle will make the BB's hit the floor. So just have another large piece of carpet on the floor with a vacuum handy.

ive got a cardboard box with styrofoam inside (bbs go through cardboard, get trapped into styrofoam, styrofoam crumbles inside box so no mess), and high density foam at the back so any bbs that go through the styrofoam don't go through the back of the box.
