Need help on battery options

I have just got a new G&P USMC sam-r and are wondering if it is wise to run a 9.6, or peferably a 10.8 volt battery.
Keep in mind the gun is completly stock.
if so will thouse types of batterys even fit in the stock?

Running a 10.8V battery is NOT a good idea. 9.6V is probably a bad idea on a stock gun, but not as bad as a 10.8V. I'd say stick with a 8.4V.

if your using it as a marksman rifle, then 9.6, you get semi auto shots off quicker, if you'll be using full auto 8.4 is the way to go. If your using a battery with more than 4000mah use a 7.2 lol

My son has a G&P M4 Marine, with a Prometheus 6.03 barrel and a Systema hop-up unit. It shoots 375fps with a .25g BB. He uses a 9.6V, 3,000mah nunchuck battery, very high ROF. He has put over 8,000 rounds through it with not a single problem. He can hit a man sized target at over 200 feet with his Acog replica.
