Marui Sig p226 problems
Hey, for some reason I can't post in the gun problem section so i might as well say it here...
I'm having problems with my Marui Sig p226. I've had it for about two years and run it on propane. Every time i fire it now, the bbs drop to the ground about a meter away, after leaving the barrel. Sometimes, even two bbs will fire out with one trigger pull and do this. I've tried adjusting the hop up and looking inside, but I don't know what's wrong and don't know much about repairing airsoft guns. Anyone have an idea of whats wrong? or have the same problem?........Thanks. |

When you fire, is there an excessive amount of gas blowing out of the slide? It sounds to me like your blowback chamber is possibly blown, regarding the firing characteristics.

I had this problem with my KSC g34 and TM Hi-Capa 5.1,
For me, it was caused by excess oil on the hop-up rubber which causes bb's to slide past it when chambered too hard. the thing that worked for me was: taking the gun apart and cleaning everything, (be careful not to rip the hop-up rubber when removing it) soak the hopup rubber in water with dish-water detergent, lube everything EXCEPT the hopup, put gun back together. See if that works. |
